Is your site a Transitional Facility?
The Standard for Transitional Facilities for General Uncleared Risk Goods (TFGEN), specifies that all Transitional Facilities must have prominent signage that states the premises are a Transitional Facility approved under the Biosecurity Act 1993 and entry is restricted to permitted persons only.
Transitional Facility signs should be located in all relevant areas around your site, such as all entrances, container drop and devanning areas, where biosecurity equipment and waste are stored. Their purpose is to clearly identify your site as a transitional facility and communicate important information to employees and visitors to ensure effective exclusion, eradication and management of pests and unwanted organisms in New Zealand.
Our signs ensure you comply with the minimum standards. We also offer a range of signs to identify other important biosecurity information for your site including equipment for biosecurity use only, biosecurity waste, uncleared goods and hold, approved container drop and devanning area.
Note: Signs are not permitted to display the MPI logo or the acronyms ‘MPI’ as per the Flags, Emblems, and Names Protection Act 1981.
